My First Shell
A basic shell program featuring commands from Unix-like shells (Bash).
I'm Matt Anderson, a current Computer Science student at Oregon State university, and a Software Engineer Intern at Dematic in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I am a curious and passionate learner, a collaborative team member, and most importantly, I have a strong interest in collaborating to write software that can be used to improve the operations of critical businesses and the people who work in them.
I have worked for several months as an intern, and in that time I have developed important skills in developing full-stack applications and participating in the software development life cycle to create and customize products for several clients. Before studying computer science, I studied English and worked briefly as a high school English teacher. I like to believe that these varied experiences have not only given me strong technical skills, but also the useful communication skills that are required to work effectively in a fast-paced, efficient workplace.
In searching for a position as a software engineer, I am looking for a role that allows me to constantly learn, explore satisfying solutions to complex problems, and to work with a team that supports my growth. If that sounds like a good fit for your organization, please use the form below to send me a quick message!
